Baby Card

I've got one more baby sample to show you.  This was the card I made to accompany the gift for SIL's shower earlier this month.  We know she's having a girl, so it was fun to make a "girlie" baby card!


Materials:  Bundled with Love, Short and Sweet
Cardstock: Blush Blossom, So Saffron, Very Vanilla, Almost Amethyst DSP
Ink: Basic Gray, Lavender Lace, Old Olive
Accessories: Certainly Celery ribbon, Aquapainters, 1/16" circle Punch, Pewter Hodgepodge Hardware set

I promise I'll try to stay away from the baby cards for a while!

Another Valentine's Day card

Here is another Valentine's Day card that I made that my club members have been stamping.  It is done with the new hostess set Time Well spent and has been quite popular with my club members.


Materials: Time Well Spent
Cardstock: Regal Rose, Rose Red, Confetti White, Bravo Burgundy
Ink: Regal Rose, Rose Red, Bravo Burgundy
Accessories: Aquapainters, Photo Corner Punch, Hemp Twine, 1/16" circle punch, 1/4" Bravo Burgundy grosgrain, 5/8" Regal Rose grosgrain

This was another easy to replicate card that packs a lot of visual punch.

Dad's Birthday card

Yesterday was my father-in-law's birthday, and I actually was really good and I sat down last week to make him his card.  Of course, I forgot to make sure we brought it with us last weekend when we visited so it will end up being late anyway!


Materials: Touch of Nature, Sincere Salutations
Cardstock: More Mustard, Ruby Red, Confetti White
Ink: Basic Brown, Real Red, More Mustard, Old Olive, Close to Cocoa
Accessories: Aquapainters, Old Olive Grosgrain ribbon, Aged Copper Hodgepodge Hardware

I was quite pleased with how it well it came out.  It can be difficult at times to stamp a nice masculine card.  I really liked the layout on this one as well.  I'll have to remember this one and use it again!

Valentine's Day Card

I know it is hard to believe, but now is the time to start thinking about Valentine's Day.  To get you started, here is a card I've been showing at my workshops this month that uses supplies from the Valentine's Day bundle.


Materials: Happy Heart Day
Cardstock: Real Red, Confetti White, Ginger Blossom DSP
Ink: Black Stazon
Accessories: Rich Regals and Neutrals watercolor crayons, Aquapainters, Real Red 5/8" Grosgrain ribbon

Belated Birthday Card

This past weekend was my niece's birthday.  One of my New Year's resolutions this year was to actually get on the ball and start sending birthday cards again.  I had intended to get ahead of the game, but her birthday creeped up on me!  So, today, I sat down to stamp her a birthday card.

Cardstock: Certainly Celery, So Saffron, Elegant Eggplant, Whisper White
Ink: Basic Black, Elegant Eggplant, Certainly Celery, So Saffron
Accessories: Aquapainters, Elegant Eggplant ribbon, Stampin' Dimensionals

Came out pretty cute, didn't it?  See, I forgot on purpose so that I could use the cute little belated birthday saying.  Yeah, that's it!  The good news is that at the same time, I stamped my father-in-laws birthday card for next week.

Think Spring

We've had a nice little January thaw, but now that it starting to get a little colder again, I thought you might enjoy a touch of spring!  This fun card is made using our new hostess set Time Well Spent and is super easy!

Materials: Time Well Spent, Tagger's Dozen
Cardstock: Groovy Guava, So Saffron, Chocolate Chip, Wild Wasabi, White Naturals
Ink: Basic Grey, Groovy Guava, Wild Wasabi
Accessories: Natural Hemp, 1/16" circle punch, Stamping sponges

The color on the flower was added by using stamping sponges.  This is a quick and easy way to add color to any image.

Valentines Day Bundle

Our Valentine's Day bundle is in full swing, and I thought I'd share a fun project with you that utilizes the supplies you will get when you purchase the bundle.

These would make adorable little gifts for kids to distribute at school, and they are easy enough for your children to help you with.  The Valentine's Day bundle is available through the end of January, but I recommend you order by the January 28 to make sure you have enough time to work on your projects.

Baby Thank you card

You are probably getting sick of me showing you baby cards!  I've got a couple more and then I promise I'll take a break.  This is a card I designed for my SIL.  I did a batch of them up and gave them to her to use for thank you cards.  I think it came out pretty cute!


Materials: Bundled with Love,  Fundamental Phrases
Cardstock: Cameo Coral, Lavender Lace, Apricot Appeal, Whisper White, Certainly Celery DSP
Ink: Basic Grey, Pretty in Pink, Lavender Lace, and Pumpkin Pie
Accessories: Round Tab Punch, Soft Subtles brads, Apricot Appeal grosgrain, Linen Thread, Aquapainters, Stampin' Dimensionals

This card actually could be used for much more than a baby card.  It would also make a fun birthday card for a toddler, and the layout itself could easily be customized for different colors or a different stamp set.

Happy New Year!

Happy New year everyone!  I can't believe that 2007 is gone and 2008 is now here.  I just love the promise that a new year always holds!  I created a special card for you just to celebrate the occasion:
