Today I thought I'd show you a sample that we did in my stamp club last month. It uses a technique called the Relection technique. Let me show you the card and then I'll explain a little about it:
Materials: Autumn Days and Teeny Tiny Wishes
Cardstock: Cajun Craze, Old Olive, More Mustard and Whisper White
Ink: Old Olive, Early Espresso, More Mustard, Baja Breeze pads and Cajun Craze Marker
Accessories: Word Window punch, Early Espresso grosgrain ribbon, Stamp a Ma Jig, sponge
This is actually a fairly simple technique. First I inked the pheasant and added a little extra color with the Cajun Craze marker. Then I stamped him where I wanted him on the white cardstock. Next I reinked the pheasant and stamped it on the back of the imaging sheet the comes with the Stamp a Ma jig. The back of the sheet is smooth, and you can see through it. I positioned it where I wanted the reflection to be and rubbed it onto the cardstock, transferring the ink. Then I sponged a little color for the sky and the water.
Give it a try and see how you like it! You can purchase any of these products on my website by clicking the link on the left.
Happy Stamping!
