Something bright and cheerful

Since we've had so much dreary, rainy weather this week, I thought I'd post a bright cheerful card to lift your spirits!  This is card that we did at a workshop earlier this month and showcases the new Flower Fest stamp set from the Summer Mini catalog:

Materials: Flower Fest and Short and Sweet

CardstocK: Melon Mambo and Whisper White

Ink: Melon Mambo and Versamark

Accessories: Stampin' Pastels, Sponge Daubers, 2 3/8" Scallop Circle Punch, Pumpkin Pie 1/4" grosgrain ribbon and Stampin' Dimensionals

As soon as I saw this stamp set, it screamed to me to use the Poppin' Pastels technique.  That's an oldie but goodie technique and never fails to get a wow!  The other neat thing about this stamp set is nearly all the images are designed to work with a punch.  You can stamp an image and easily punch it out for a fun 3-d look.
