Another Fall Card

I've got one more fall card I want to show you:

I've actually had this one in my files for a couple of years.  I think I might have made it at convention one year, because I have a matching envelope for it!  This is an oldy, but goody stamp set, that looks great in lots of different color combos.  This time I did it in Old Olive and Chocolate Chip, which gives a nice fall feel to card.  I like the simplicity of the design, too.

Gently Falling Stair Step Card

We are well into fall now, and before I really start turning my focus on Christmas cards, I wanted to make sure that I got some of the fall cards I've been working on posted. 

Here is a card we did in stamp club last month:

Materials: Gently Falling

Cardstock: Old Olive, Whisper White and Spice Cake DSP

Ink: Old Olive, Early Espresso and Crumb Cake pads, and Early Espresso marker

Accessories: Simply Scored tool, Spritzer tool, Pear Pizzazz Seam Binding, Natural Hemp, Stampin' Dimensionals

Isn't this a fun design?  The new Simply Scored tool made this card a breeze.  I also used the Color Spritzer tool to make the splatter marks.  I don't tend to take that tool out very often and I'm always glad when I do.

Medallion Pumpkin

I held my medallion wreath class not all that long ago, and we had a great time.  Then, last week, I saw the directions for a pumpkin come through an email list I belong to.  I couldn't resist, and this is what I came up with:

Isn't it just adorable?  I had a lot of fun making it.  Unfortunately, I gave it away as a gift, so I no longer have it.  I guess I need to get busy and make myself another one!  It was super easy to do using the new Simply Scored tool.  It used six sheets of 12x12 card stock, plus a strip from a regular sheet of card stock.  I scored the sheets all at once and then cut them into the various sizes.  I sponged the edges with Early Espresso to give it some shading and my new trusty glue gun helped hold it all together.

October Stamp a Stack class

Hey everyone!

I've finally finished the samples for my next stamp a stack class.  Here's one for a teaser:

Date:  Friday, October 21, 2011

Time: 7:00pm

Place: Michelle's house

Class Fee:  $30 if prepaid by October 19 and $35 at the door

As always, we will be making a total of fifteen cards, three each of five designs, and you will receive a $10 credit on an order placed that evening.  You can view all the cards we will be making on my website here And, of course, stamping is always more fun with a friend, so sign a friend up for double the fun.
