I'm so excited!  On Monday, Stampin' Up! will be doing something I've NEVER seen them do before!  Nearly every stamp will be 15% off.  This includes, background stamps, single stamps, stamp sets, cookies press stamps and personalized stamps.  The only thing not included are the hostess sets and stamps sold in bundles. Digital Download Tuesday, 10/23

It's Tuesday...that means it is Digital Download day!  Here are samples of today's releases:

Ornament Bundle

I thought I'd share with you the card we've been making in my stamp clubs this month which uses all three of those components:

Isn't it a fun card? The colors are Real Red and Lucky Limeade with a bit of Early Espresso.  It is a fairly tradtional looking card, and wouldn't be too bad to work in multiples.

Now is the perfect time to order your supplies for your Christmas cards.  You'll get them back and still have time to get your cards made before December!

Hilton Head Island Part 2

So last time, I shared with you a little about my trip to Hilton Head Island.  This time, I thought I'd show you the pillow gifts I received from Stampin' Up!  

Pillow gifts are a much anticipated part of any Stampin' Up incentive trip.  When you got out for the evening, and you are headed back for the night, it's always fun to see what shows up on your bed!

The first night, this is what I received:

Isn't it cute!  The first thing I check was to see if it was an LL Bean, but, alas, it is Land's End.  Either way...it's got fabulous pockets on the inside, and I've been using it to carry my current knitting projects.

The second night, we came back to this:

I'm not much of a cheese and crackers kind of gal, but we were able to bring the waters home and they are currently being displayed on my bookcase.

Finally, the last night I found this on my bed:

I think I actually squealed and clapped my hands!  I said to my husband "Oooh...I love stamping gifts!".  Inside the box was the Postage Due set, Fanfair DSP, a package of faceted buttons, a couple of ink pads, a package of baker's twine and a couple of rolls of ribbon.  Fun, fun stuff!

I'm currently working hard to earn the next trip.  This time I want to earn the grand vacation, which is a weeklong Western Caribbean cruise.  When I earn this one, we plan to take my children with us.  The kids are super excited!  Stayed tuned!

Digital Download Tuesday 10/16

It's Tuesday....time for digital downloads again!  You can view the downloads on my website here.  Here's a quick picture of them as well:

The Fine Print coupons are so cute, and would make a fabulous Christmas gift.  You can print them on your home computer, or you could send them to our printer to be printed.  Stampin' Up just reduced the printing costs, and a Swatchbook now starts at only $9.95 to be printed...fabulous deal!

Since I've been talking about the swatchbooks, how about I show you page I did recently in a swatchbook:

It's a simple little page, but altogether in the swatchbook, it came out really cute.  A swatchbook comes with a screw holding the pages together, so you can fan them out to view the pictures.  They are small, easily transportable, and have nice semi-transparent protective sheets as a front and back cover.  Super, super gifts.

Don't forget that you can try MDS for free for 30 days.  You get about half the digital content in the trial version, but it is a full featured trial.  You can create anything, save them, and print them.  What are you waiting for?  Give it a try!

Hilton Head Island Part 1

As many of you know, my husband and I had the pleasure of vacationing on Hilton Head Island last month, courtesy of Stampin' Up!  I thought I'd share a few pictures from our trip.

We stayed at the Westin Hotel and Resort.  The grounds were just beautiful!

The resort sits right on the beach.  I spent part of each day enjoying that beach!  Acutally, I was commenting to my husband that it was very sad that I live in Maine, and that was my first time at the ocean all summer!

The water was wonderfully warm!  I just checked and the current water temp is 76 and we were there three weeks ago.  I rarely go in the ocean here in Maine, so it was a treat to enjoy it.  

One of the days, I actually got Michael to go sit out for an hour with me:

Stampin' Up rented bikes for us to use and there were bike paths all over the island. One of the days we were out for about four hours on the bikes.

It was a wonderful trip, and I'm so grateful for the opportunity.  Thank you all for your support, and in particular to those who participated in my last minute Mystery hostess order which gave me that last bit of sales I needed to achieve this awesome trip!

Happy Birthday, Juliet!

Last month, my niece turned 1 year old.  My sister-in-law asked me to help her make some tags that she could put on the goodies bags for the birthday party.  So, I designed something and then one Sunday evening we got togther and made them. Would you like to see?

Here's a close up of one of them: 

Unfortunately, the internet doesn't come equipped with smell-a-vision or you'd be able to smell that we embossed the ice cream with the Vanilla scented embossing powder.  After I embossed with the scented powder, I used my versamarker (miss that thing!) to add ink and I re-embossed them with the Iridescent Ice Embossing powder to give it a fun shimmer.  My sister-in-law was thrilled with them!

Then, because it was so convenient to carry the coordination on, I used the idea to make my birthday card for her:

Too cute, if I do say so myself!
