Valentine Scrapbook Pages

Hey everyone!

Sorry about that...I didn't mean to disappear on you.  I was sick all of last week, and I've spent all of this week trying to play catch up!  You know how that goes.

When I was sick last week, I was forced to cancel my Scrapbook club.  I made kits for my club members so they could put their pages together themselves, and I promised to post the pages.  So...here they are!

Valentine's Day is coming, so I decided to create some valentines pages.  You can't see it really well, but I ran the solid red heart through the Polka Dot Embossing Folder, so it has some fun texture on it.  I got the multicolors on the stamped heart by inking it in Regal Rose first and then using a Real Red marker to add highlights to spots.

Video: Reflection Technique

Squeee! I just made my first video! My plan is to create a video every month on the technique we do in my stamp clubs.  In between, I may add additional videos as the inspiration strikes, but that is where I while start.

This is the card we created this month:

The technique is the Reflection Technique, and it is super easy to do using a small cellophane bag.

New! All Day Stamping Class

I am so excited to announce my first ever all day stamping event!  Winter can seem to go on forever sometimes here in Maine, but this class is sure to lift your spirits.  

I will be offering four separate classes, one after the other.  You can take just one class, or you can take all four.  Each class is $30 or you can take all four classes for $100, plus if you take at least three classes, you can choose a FREE sale-a-bration item.  Class fees include at least $15-$18 in product that you will use in that class, and then you get to take the rest home with you!

I've been working on the projects this week since I came home from Leadership.  Here's a sneak peek at one of the cards:

Here's a synopsis of the four classes:

    Tea for Two Class

In this class you will be making four delightfully feminine cards using products from the Tea for Two suite.  Your class fee includes a package of Tea for Two Designer Series Paper, a package of Creped Filter Paper and a package of Calypso Coral Baker's Twine

    Pop Up Posies Class

Take this class and you will have a definite bright spot added to your winter days!  You will be making four cards using the Pop Up Posies Kit to create fun flower accents.  Your class fee includes the Pop Up Posies Designer Kit and a package of Glue Dots

    Masculine Cards

Probably the biggest challenge in card making is creating masculine cards for the special guy in your life.  We will be making four cards which should solve that problem for a little while at least!  Your class fee includes a package of Parkers Patterns Designer Series Paper and a package of Silver Buttons

    For the Record Scrapbook Layout

Scrapbooking made easy!  We will be using a Simply Scrappin' Layout Kit to create a fun two page layout to help you record the most memorable moments in your life.  Your class fee includes the For the Record Simply Scrappin' Kit and a roll of Old Olive 1/8" taffeta ribbon

 

I am so excited for this, and I think it is going to be super fun!  Space is limited, and I have a feeling that it is going to fill quickly.  You can either mail me a check or call me to pay with a credit card.

Paper Pumpkin creative kits

Last week, Stampin' Up! introduced a new monthly subscription service that is set to begin in March.  Each month, you will get a fun surprise in the mail in the form of your Paper Pumpkin kit.  The projects will vary from month to month, but knowing Stampin' Up! I'm sure they will be marvelous!

Saleabration countdown with Madison Avenue

This was one of my swaps for Leadership last week.  I even designed it all by myself! I wanted a bit of sparkle on the butterflies, but I didn't want to use as many rhinestones as that would have required.

I wasn't too sure about this set, but once I started playing with it I really started to like it.  The images provide a nice artsy look without being over done and it makes for some really great masculine cards.

Sale-a-bration countdown!

There are exactly two weeks until Sale-a-bration kicks off!  Let the countdown begin!

Happy New Year!

Well, happy new year, everybody!

I've had a slow start getting back into blogging, but I've been very busy these last couple of days.  I think I've stamped more cards in the last week then I have in a long time!
