This card is just so happy!  It makes me smile everytime I look at it.  We did this card in January at my stamp clubs, right in the heart of winter.   The grid was easily created using the Simply Scored tool.

I have to say, too, that I'm really enjoying these little punches.  The 7/8" Scallop Circle was introduced in the Spring catalog.  The Petite Curly Label is actually a part of our Sale-a-bration offerings.  It will be available after Sale-a-bration ends, but, for right now, you can get it free with a $50 purchase.

Quick and Easy Class

Do you like Mondays?  I know most of us find Mondays a bit of a drag to get through.  Monday signals the beginning of the work week.  

How would you like to have something to look forward to on a Monday?  How about my Quick and Easy class?  I hold my Quick and Easy class on the last Monday of every month.  We make six cards with envelopes.  The class fee is $15 or it's free with a minimum purchase of at least $25.  If you register and bring a new friend, you can make a second set of cards for free!

Valentine's Day Stampin' Up! style

Happy Valentine's Day!

It's a day for hearts and pink and red and lace and fineness.  I want to show you a Valentine's Day card we did in one of my classes last month.

Materials: Hearts a Flutter

Card stock: Primrose Petals, Pool Party and Very Vanilla card stock and More Amore Designer Series Paper

Ink: Primrose Petals and Pool Party

Accessories: Big Shot and Hearts a Flutter Framelits, Primrose Petals stitched ribbon, Basic Rhinestones, and Stampin' Dimensionals

I just love the More Amore Designer Series Paper.  I thought I could manage without it, until I went to Leadership.  Oh my goodness..the cuteness!  The Real Red Lace heart comes from that package of paper.  You get two sheets with sixteen hearts, one in Real Red and one in Primrose Petals, and you just need to cut them apart.

I'm also really enjoying the Hearts a Flutter stamp set and matching framelits.  This is a really versatile set that can be used far beyond Valentine's Day.  Wouldn't it make an awesome Wedding set?  Plus those banners can be used on just about anything!

Elijah's Valentines with My Digital Studio

Over the weekend, I spent some time creating my youngest son's valentine's using My Digital Studio.  I started with a digital download that was released last month called Officially Awesome Valentines Designer Template and then we personalized them a bit.

I pretty much copied one of the valentines that is already in the program, but their design came with pink hearts and pink words, and that just would not do for a certain eight year old boy! 

The nice things was that, in addition to the predesigned templates, it also comes with a 22-piece stamp set which is basically all the parts that were used to create their designs.  So, I was able to use the parts to recreate the design, changing the features that I needed to satisfy my discriminating eight year old.

Once I had them designed, I copied it six times onto an 11 x 8 1/2 page and then printed them out on my home printer.  My son will sign the backs and perhaps we'll add a heart stamp or something.

This was a super fun project, and since the download is only $3.95, it proved just as cost-effective as those premade valentines in the store...only a whole lot cuter!

Free Stamps!

Did I get your attention?

I recently returned from Leadership Conference in Orlando.  I had a fantastic time seeing all my demonstrator friends from around the country.  The relationships I have built are truly one of things I enjoy most about being part of Stampin' Up!

But, what I wanted to show you today, was a picture of all the free goodies I came home with:

Ladybug Punch Art Birthday card

Today is my niece's fifth birthday.  Last week, my sister happened to mention that my niece wanted a ladybug cake for her birthday, so I set out to see if I could make a ladybug card.  Do you want to see it?

Materials: Create a Cupcake

Card stock: Real Red, Sahara Sand, Basic Black and Whisper White

Ink: Real Red

Accessories: Big Shot and Clouds Textured Embossing Folder and Ovals Framelits, 1" circle punch,  1 3/8" circle punch, Owl punch, Bird Builder punch, Word Window punch, Modern Label punch, Real Red 1/8" taffeta ribbon, and Stampin' Dimensionals

I was pretty proud of this card!  Punch art has never come easily to me, but this one just popped into my head.  Can you pick out all the punches?  I'll give you a hint on one of them.  I used the branch from the Bird Builder punch to create the ladybug's little legs.

I'm excited to give this card to my niece.  I think she's going to really like it!

Celebrate 25 Years with Stampin' Up!

This year, Stampin' Up! celebrates it's twenty-fifth anniversary.  It's amazing how in twenty-five years, Stampin' Up! has grown from a small company run out of a living room to a large direct selling company found in nine different countries worldwide!

As part of the celebration, Stampin' Up! will be releasing a stamp set each month featuring the best artwork from the last twenty-five years.  Each "Best of" stamp set will be $14.95 and available only in clear mount.  It will feature 4-6 images, including one brand new, never-before-seen image.  

On the label sheet there will be a number "25" sticker.  Make sure you save that, because when you collect six of them, you can send them in for a free $14.95 stamp set!  A collector's card will come in the stamp sets beginning in February, and you can also download it on the left of my blog under the "Best of Stamp Sets" header.

Feeling Sentimental Masculine Card

Happy Monday!

It's a bit blustery out there today!  A good day to stay inside stamping.

That brings me to the the subject of todays post.  Today's card is a masculine card that we will be making as part of my all day stamping class on February 23.  There are four different classes that I'm offering on that day.  You can take just one, or you can take all four.  

Each class is $30 and includes at least $18 in products that you will use and then take the rest home with you.  If you register for at least three of the classes, you get to choose a free sale-a-bration product and if you register for all four, you save $20 and pay only $100 for the entire day (plus you'll be getting all those fabulous stamping goodies!)

This is one of the cards we will make in the masculine card class:

It features the Feeling Sentimental stamp set and the Parker's Patterns Designer Series Paper.  Feeling Sentimental is a Sale-a-bration set and you can get it free when you spend $50 by March 22.  I think this is becoming the most popular of the Sale-a-bration offerings.
