One of my new favorite stamp sets is the Flower Shop set with it's coordinating punch. There are so many fabulous possiblities with this set.

Isn't this a fun card?  I can't remember where I saw this sample, but I knew right away I wanted to copy it!  I think I may have changed the colors, but the basic layout is the same. 

I am finding that because the flower is not symmetrical, you need to fiddle a little bit with the image to get it to line up with the punch.  The more I play with it, though, the better I'm getting at guessing which way to stamp the image for easier punching!

I also like that this is one of the items that you can get as a bundle.  When you purchase both the stamp set and the punch, you save 15%.  What could be better!

Baby Prints Thank You cards

Well, today is the last day of school for my kids.  I'm actually really looking forward to a little bit slower pace and not having to pound the homework!

My youngest son's teacher is expecting her first baby over the summer, and on Monday the kids (OK, the kids' moms) threw her a baby shower.  I decided that rather than contributing money to the large gift, I would stamp her 50 thank you cards.  My son was in a combined second and third grade class with two teachers that co-taught, so I knew that she would need a lot of thank you cards.

I had an entire package of Regal Rose card stock left, so this was a great opportunity to put it to good use.  The Pink Pirouette Designer Series Paper is also retired, but I have linked it to the new package with the updated patterns for you. There's still a polka dot pattern, so it would be fairly similar.

She was so thrilled and surprised, and the students were so into the whole shower thing.  There were only a few gifts, the one large one and a couple of smaller ones, but somebody did buy a couple of little outfits.  You should have heard 45 kids all oohing at the same time.  So cute!

This is one the cards that we will be making in my stamp clubs this month, and it features the new Mosaic Madness stamp set and coordinating punch.  I wasn't sure what I thought of this set at first, but there are so many things you can do with it.  And it was super easy to line these images up after stamping and punching them.

Even better, there is a coordinating embossing folder as well.  The three together make for a compelling trio!
