A couple of weeks ago, I shared a Learn to Stamp video teaching you how to use the new Gilded Leafing. In that video, I showed you this sample in which I used the Gilded Leafing around the edges of my card stock. I started with a piece of Whisper White card stock cut 1/4" bigger than my designer series paper. Then I scraped my Versamark pad all the way around the edges, applied the heat and stick powder, heat it and added the gilded leafing.
You will want to make sure that your Versamark pad is fairly well inked to make sure that you get good coverage around the edges; however, if after you've applied the leafing you find there are spots where it is missing, you can repeat the process and add more leafing. My Versamark pad is fairly old and it took me four or five tries to get all the edges covered to my satisfaction. The nice thing is that you don't have to worry about creating a neat edge because the designer series paper will cover up the unevenness created by simply scraping the Versamark around the edges.
You can place an order on my website by clicking the Online Ordering button above. When you use hostess code 9VJ4KKCS in the month of February, I will send you my tutorial featuring six cards using the Dragonfly Garden Bundle for free. If your order is over $150, please don't use the hostess code so you can keep the Stampin' Rewards for yourself. I will send you the tutorial automatically.
Happy stamping!
