Minute to Make It: Vellum Dragonfly Card

Ink: Granny Apple Green, Smoky Slate, Memento Black

Card stock:

Whisper White: 5 1/2" x 8 1/2 and 2 1/2" x 3"

Smoky Slate: 5 1/4" x 4"

Granny Apple Green - 4 3/4" x 3 1/4"

Bermuda Bay - 4 3/4" x 1"

Vellum - 3" x 3"

In today's Minute to Make It video, I'm showing you how to create this fun card using the Dragonfly Garden bundle:

Dragonflies have a translucent and iridescent quality about them, so when I set out to the make this card, I immediately thought about using vellum for the dragonfly. The dragonfly was stamped in Memento Black ink and then colored on the back using Stampin' Write markers. You really do need to use the Stampin' Write markers rather than the Blends, because the Blends end up obscuring the image. Another tip is to make sure that your Memento ink has fully dried before you flip it over to color. You can either set it aside to dry or use your heat tool to speed up the process.
