Fun fold cards are always fun, and what I like about this card is that it is made by creative placement of the cutting plates on your Stampin' Cut and Emboss.  Any of our larger dies will work, and with so many different options, the sky is really the limit on the variety of cards that you can create with this design.

It's #SimpleStamping Friday!  Today's card features the Peaceful Cabin set and is a slight departure from the stamps, ink and paper approach I've been taking as I allowed myself one embellishment.  I used the Wonderful Gems on this card, and that simple addition really adds a lot to this card.  Even with that, however, this card is still simple enough that you could mass produce a large number of these cards fairly quickly.

Minute to Make It: Whimsical Trees Joy Card

In today's Minute to Make It video, I show you how I created this card using the Whimsical Trees set:

The Whimsical Trees bundle is one of my new favorite Christmas bundles.  I am really having a lot of fun with the whole, well, whimsical look of the images in the set.  For this card, I wanted to use the holly leaf image in the corners of the card, and that is really what drove the design.  The sample above is stamped using Mossy Meadow, but the card in my video was stamped using Garden Green which shows that this card can easily be stamped in a whole range of shades of green.

Today's card is a fun that really focuses on the large Candy Cane background stamp.  One of the things I really enjoy is stamp red candy canes on light pink card stock.  I think it makes for a striking combination.  There are lots of different ways that you could use this background stamp, but this would be the straightforward and classic approach. Today's #SimpleStamping Friday card features the Frosted Gingerbread set and the coordinating Gingerbread and Peppermint Designer Series Paper.  This set has classic images that will play into some of the nostalgia that we often feel around the holidays.  Because I wanted this to be a #SimpleStamping card, I didn't want to add any ribbon, but I did want something to cover the spot where the two different designer series papers meet. I chose to use a narrow strip of Cinnamon Cider card stock, and this worked perfectly to help create that break.

September 2021 Paper Pumpkin: Haunts and Harvest Alternates 2

Today's alternate Paper Pumpkin samples were created using only the stamp set that came in the kit.  For these samples, I chose to create a wide variety of themes.  I thought it was really cool that I a set that was fairly fall-themed could be used for some decidedly not fall cards.  My favorite is the Christmas one.  When I saw skeleton leaf image, it reminded me of the spokes of a snowflake.  I was pretty happy with that card!

In today's Minute to Make It video, I show you how to create this card using the Snowflake Wishes set:

On this card, I want to take the time to point out the large die cut snowflake which came from the Wonderful Snowflakes package.  This product was on my initial preorder list, and when the order arrived, they got tucked aside.  I came across them last week and I realized I needed to play with them.  They are white on both sides, but one of the sides has a bit of iridescent shimmer to it which helps to give it a bit of a shine.  I thought it paired perfectly with the White Glittered Organdy Ribbon for the quick and easy Christmas card.
