Over the years, I have had lots of different flower stamp sets and each one has been delightful in its own way.  I love daffodils and the promise of spring that they bring.  When my daffodils are finally in full bloom, I know that the long winter has finally come to an end.  With lots of white space that allows the flowers to take center stage, this card just makes me smile every time I look at it.

Today's card is drawn from a design that a friend shared with me.  It has hard to tell in the photo, but the Polished Pink base card is folded in half and then scored 1 1/4" from one end.  That piece is then folded back on itself creating a peek into the inside of the card. It's a slightly different design which gives some fun interest into the card.

Sometimes when I sit down to stamp, I will pull out a stamp set and then just stare at it and I have a difficult time figuring out where to start.  That's when I go to Pinterest and see if there are any good ideas that I can CASE.  This was a design that I saw on Pinterest done by Kathi Ondus.  Sometimes I take a design and I use it as a jumping off point, but if I recall correctly, this was one that I copied pretty closely from the original design.  I think one thing I really like with this card is the clean look that the basic white card stock gives.  The embossing folder gives some texture without taking the focus away from the flowers in the center.

I love finding new ways to use my designer series paper.  We have so many fabulous designs and if I can find a layout that really helps me to show them off, well, then that's a win in my book.  For today's #SimpleStamping Friday card, I used the Simply Marbleous Designer Series Paper which is one of the Saleabration options that is available for free with any $50 order.  I cut five 1" strips and adhered them to a piece of Basic White card stock and then attached that to a piece of Basic White card stock that is just slightly larger.  One tip I can give is to cut your strips a little bit wider than the white card stock that you are adhering them to.  Once you've got them all glued down, you can cut the excess of each side, but that way you only have to worry about lining up one edge.

Today is Valentine's Day, and I've got one last Valentines' Day card to show you.  This one uses mainly folders and dies and actually has very little stamping.  I started by embossing the white card stock with the Dotty Hearts Folder and then I created the rest of the card around the piece. You don't always have to start with stamping or even have a lot of stamping to have a great card!

It's been really cold and snowy in my part of the woods, and when I stamped this card, I guess I was in the mood for something bright and cheerful.  Today's #SimpleStamping Friday card, features the In Symmetry stamp set.  This card could be use for a birthday card or a congratulations card.  Either way, the bright colors will bring some cheer to the recipient.
