April 2022 Paper Pumpkin: Change is Beautiful Alternates 1

I was a little stumped this month when I sat down to make my alternate samples using the April Paper Pumpkin kit.  The special fold of the cards didn't lend itself particularly well to changing things up a whole lot from the original designs.  I chose instead to cut a couple of them up and mount them to half sheets of card stock to create the cards.  I love that by adding a few extra sheets of card stock, you can really extend the kit further.

The May Paper Pumpkin kit is all about our new In Colors!  The colors are just gorgeous, and this will be a great opportunity for you to play with them.  Subscribe by May 10 to make sure you don't miss it!

It's time for another sneak peek!  Today, I'm using products from the He's the Man Suite, one of our great new masculine groupings.  This suite contains a stamp set with coordinating dies, designer series paper and adhesive-backed dots, all of which were used on the card above.  One thing I didn't realize until I started playing with these products, is that the designer series paper comes with two sheets of fantastic die cuts.  That's where I got the arrow and the stars, but there are loads of other die cut images as well.  Such as fun and versatile way to get more images.  I also really like that there are several label dies in the die set.  I can definitely see myself pulling those out to use on other cards.

The April Paper Pumpkin kit is called Change is Beautiful, and these cards really are beautiful.  The artwork on the bases is just stunning and the cards were really simple to assemble but just adding the die cuts.  The stamp set came with a variety of sentiments that can be used to customize the cards just the way you want them.
