I've got another family birthday card to share with you today. My niece turned eleven a couple of weeks ago, and this was the card I created for her. As I was looking over my stamps, trying to decide which set to use, my eyes lit on the Dragonfly Garden and the concept of stamping on vellum and coloring the back came to mind. I haven't done that in while and it is a really cool look which lends itself well to the dragonflies. One tip I would tell you is to make sure that the Memento ink is completely dry on the vellum before you try to color it. Because the vellum isn't as porous as regular card stock, it takes longer to dry. I actually used my heat tool to speed up the drying time.
When you place an order on my website in the month of October using hostess code K4QJBEDQ I will send you my Hello Harvest tutorial for free. If your order is over $150, please don't use the hostess code so you can keep the Stampin' Rewards for yourself. I will send you the tutorial automatically.
Happy stamping!
