Valentine's Day is right around the corner, so I thought I would make a valentine for my #SimpleStamping Friday card.  This card uses the Country Bouquet stamp set.  This set has a coordinating punch, but the punch is unfortunately unorderable until April.  Fortunately for today, the point of simple stamping cards is that they only use stamps, ink and paper.  This card also uses the Country Gingham paper which is a nice addition to this card.

Just in time for Thanksgiving, today's #SimpleStamping Friday card is brought to you by the Hello Harvest stamp set.  This card worked up extremely quickly in about seven minutes after dinner on Wednesday.  This is a great layout that maximizes the effect of only using stamps, ink and paper.  I created a background with one of the stamps and added a focal point with a sentiment layered on top.  A banner under the focal point adds a little extra interest and also serves to break up the background just a bit.  I'd love to see what you can do with this layout.

I love creating elaborate cards just as much as the next person, but I also really love it when I can let my paper do all the work.  In this case, for today's #SimpleStamping Friday card, I let the vellum do the work.  For this card, I used a piece of the Snowflake Specialty Vellum and I made that the background.  The snowflakes on this vellum are embossed and also have an iridescent shine to them.  All that the card really needed was a simple sentiment.  In fact, if I added much more, it would make the card too busy.  What is your favorite way to let the paper do the work?

Today's #SimpleStamping Friday card is brought to you buy the Soft Seedlings set.  For this card, I inked the leaves using Pumpkin Pie and then I rolled the Cherry Cobbler pad around the edges of the stamp before stamping it on my white card stock.  I then hand cut the image and popped it up on my card.  Quick and easy, but effective.

Yesterday I shared the samples for my monthly tutorial which featured the Hello Harvest bundle.  Today, or my #SimpleStamping Friday card, I've got another sample using Hello Harvest.  For this card, I used 1" strips of designer series paper to create a bit of a frame for my pumpkin.  I chose to leave the pumpkin plain, but you could easily add a little bit of colors using Blends, a Blending Brush or even a sponge dauber.  It's a sweet little note, perfect for fall.

It's Friday which means it is time for another #SimpleStamping Friday card! Today's card features the Splendid Thoughts set.  This is the set that I'm featuring for my monthly tutorial, and you can see those cards here.  While those cards are a bit more complicated, you can also use those same supplies to create a card that is fairly simple, and yet impactful.  The sentiment on this card is "sending hugs" and if you are reaching out to somebody who is hurting, for whatever reason, it is fitting that the card be a little understated.  Just something simple to let them know that you are thinking of them.

Today's #SimpleStamping Friday card has a little bit of a cheat, but I'm going to say that it still qualifies.  Normally, I restrict my #SimpleStamping Friday cards to just stamps, ink and paper (and/or perhaps Blends for coloring).  For this card, I used on of my dies from the Scalloped Contours Dies set to create a mask that I then used to create the shape in the middle.  You could use any die for this or you could even simply cut the center out of a quarter piece of card stock with your trimmer.  I applied the ink using my Blending Brushes, creating a nice background shape on which I then stamped my flowers.  It's a simple way to create the look of layers without the bulk.  As a matter of fact, this card only uses Basic White card stock.  If that isn't #SimpleStamping, I don't know what is!

For today's #SimpleStamping Friday card, I used the Fond of Autumn stamp set to create this bright and cheerful thank you card.  I don't know if this is technically a #SimpleStamping since I used Stampin' Blends, but to me, if an image needs to be colored in it still qualifies.  Therefore, whatever devices you used to color also may be included.  What do you think of my logic?
