Last month in my stamp club the technique we did was Stained Glass.  It's not a difficult technique and the results are just amazing.  Here's the card:

Fall colors are just so pretty aren't they?  Must be the high contrast you typically find in the combinations.  Anyway...my club members had a good time with this technique.  I even have a video for you:

 

Technique Video: Faux Frames

I finally got the video edited for this month's technique!  Earlier this month, I needed to have my hard drive replaced in my computer, and I've been slowly working to get things back up and running!

Anyway...the technique for this month was Faux Frames, and here's the card:

Everywhere you look lately, you see evidence of the hottest look.  What is it?  Blackboards!  They're everywhere.  

So this month for my stamp club, I decided to focus on the blackboard technique.

Video: Reflection Technique

Squeee! I just made my first video! My plan is to create a video every month on the technique we do in my stamp clubs.  In between, I may add additional videos as the inspiration strikes, but that is where I while start.

This is the card we created this month:

The technique is the Reflection Technique, and it is super easy to do using a small cellophane bag.

Sympathy Card

My sister-in-law lost her grandmother last week, and I needed to sit down and create a sympathy card.  Here is what I came up with:


Materials: Artfully Asian
Cardstock: White Naturals, Bashful Blue, Certainly Celery
Ink: Basic Gray, Bashful Blue, and Certainly Celery pads; Bashful Blue and Certainly Celery ink refills
Accessories:  Blue gingham ribbon, aquapainters, baby wipes

I created the background by folding a baby wipe into quarters.  I then placed 3-4 drops of each color of ink refill onto the baby wipe.  Then I just dabbed the baby wipe all over the card.  Pretty cool, isn't it?
